If you want to snag these, you’ll have to take a trip to the resale market. The Air Jordan 11 Retro ‘Cool Grey’ (Style Code: CT8012-005) are some of the coolest sneakers of all time no matter the brand. Tinker Hatfield’s best work is wrapped in a colorway that doesn’t just see things in black and white but in shades of grey. I’ve never met a single person who didn’t like them—everything about these shoes is cool, pun intended. Initially released in 2001 for $175, the ‘Cool Grey’ 11s were an instant fan favorite and remain one to this day. The versatility of the sneaker design collaborates perfectly with the laid-back colorway. A grey fabric upper is wrapped from toe to heel in a shiny tonal patent leather mudguard. A gleaming white midsole sits atop a translucent outsole that resembles the coldest ice. Jumpman soars at the high-top’s nubuck lateral rear collar giving this flawless footwear permission to take flight.
